For as long as we can remember, we have been wishing we were older to do this or that. When you are a child, you want to be older so that you can go out with your friends on the street. When we are teenagers, we want to be of legal age, so that we can be more independent. Or so we think.
When we are older, we realize that most of our lives are spent waiting, waiting to grow up, waiting for the weekend, waiting for vacations, waiting to finish school ...
This really does not make sense, we do not get to appreciate in detail those moments in which we wait. These make us be born to die without actually living the period between these two happily.
To sum up, we focus on the future without living in the present. But we must learn more slowly and enjoy the moment. Don't forget, Carpe Diem.
